Summary:
This position is responsible for creating a fun-filled and exciting gaming experience for our guests while supervising and securing their assigned Poker game, per department policies and procedures.
Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:
includes but not limited to:
o Supervises and secures assigned Poker game according to department policies and procedureso Maintains game supervision while interacting with the playerso Enforces internal controls, Gaming Commission regulations and poker game procedureso Greets guests with a smile and friendly welcome and promotes superior guest serviceSecondary Duties and
Responsibilities:
o Rates players accurately and resolves guest issues and concerns promptly and efficientlyo Improve skills of Dealers through training and counseling on a daily basisCompetencies:
Incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
o Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skillso Ability to efficiently maintain and supervise multiple gameso Knowledge of all department policies, procedures, rules and regulations pertaining to the gameTraining Requirements:
o Must attend all appropriate Human Resources Supervisor Training classeso Fully understands all Poker rules in The Poker Rule Book and Poker Policy and Procedure Manuelo Fully understands all gaming rules and regulationso Required to attend annual CTR/SARC training and refresher courseso Knowledge of Ascent, EmpowerTime and Manager Self Service systemsMinimum Education and Qualification:
o High School Diploma or equivalento Previous experience as a Poker Floor Supervisor or one year of full-time Poker dealing experience in a high volume, complex casino environmento Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in EnglishMohegan Sun practices Native American Preference.
Native American means an individual who is duly enrolled member of the Mohegan Tribe or duly enrolled member of any group of Native Americans recognized as an Indian Tribe by the Mohegan Tribe, the United States, or the State of Connecticut.
